    • The Ethan Giving Tree
The Orem & St George Scout Shops are providing an opportunity for the Scouting community to help local Scout members who may be in need of uniforms, uniform items and books. The Ethan Giving Tree (similar to Angel Tree) will be set up at the Scout Shop with Ethan cards on it. Each card will have the first name of a Scout along with the basic Scout uniform items that they need but may not be able to afford. Scouts, Scouters and Scouting supporters can purchase the item(s) in one of our shops and give them to the store staff to collect. We will make sure they go to the Scout that is in need. Thank you in advance for your help! Help give a child a fantastic scouting experience! With your support, we can make a difference!

“Scouting brings out the best in each of us, you’ve learned much from Scouting. Live what you’ve learned and will continue to learn. Help others to hike the trails, to keep steadfast in the paths of truth, of honor, of duty, that all of you can soar together on eagles’ wings. You are part of a mighty army of youth, even a royal army, and every organization, to be successful, has an honored tradition to uphold. May you uphold Scouting’s tradition, for it can be as a lighthouse beacon in the world of stormy seas,  it can be a motivation to prepare for your role in life, it can be a yardstick against which you measure your accomplishments.”
    -President Thomas S. Monson
"Scouting should be a laboratory, not a lecture; purposeful, not casual; strategic, not haphazard; and spiritually strengthening, not merely entertaining."
    -Trails to Testimony- Brad Harris
