Participate in the Hope of America Program - May 4-5, 2010
REGISTRATION HAS ENDED! If your Cub Scouts would still like to participate, you are free to bring them as a family or Den and sit in the audience with them. From the audience seats, they can still sing and participate and will be recognized during the program. However, they will not be able to sit with the choir.
We need elementary age Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts. These youth will be participating and singing in the Hope of America program on both nights (May 4, 5). This program is part of America's Freedom Festival at Provo. They will need to purchase a $1.50 DVD and practice at home. The DVDs are available at the Orem Service Center. At the event, UNIFORM SHIRTS ARE REQUIRED!
What is Hope of America?
The Hope of America Student Showcase is one of America’s Freedom Festival’s most popular educational programs. The Showcase teaches American values, responsible citizenship, physical, mental and moral fitness and talent development through music and stories. The student chorus sits in the shape of the American flag with students in red, white and blue t-shirts, while the Cub Scouts will sit in their Scout uniforms surrounding the “flag”. The youth use not only their voices, but choreography, American Sign Language, flags, and flashlights to enhance their numbers. |
