Scouting Expo
Boy did we have a great time at Scouting Expo. Click here: Further DetailsIt was held on April 28th - 29th at Thanksgiving Point. Provo District sold more tickets than any other district, selling about 1300, doubling the number from last year. It was the largest Expo ever. As a result many came and enjoyed the fun and new ideas which seemed to be everywhere. It was a great way for units to earn some of their expense money while, at the same time, having a blast doing it. If you have any questions about this year's event, contact Jessica Ribble at jessbme@gmail.com for more information.

Roundtable is held at 2580 West 200 South
District Roundtable is a monthly opportunity, held on every 2nd Thursday, for us to learn new and remember old ways of keeping the program fun for the boys. Click here for details on location, time and other useful information.

We are introducing a new area to the PDScouter. This is the Scouters' Corner where Scouters can have a hotlink created to their own unit web sites. Thus, Cub/Scout/Varsity/Venturer unit web sites can be accessed through the District web site. You'll love having the hotest unit site on the web that's easily accessable through the Scouters' Corner.

To be part of the Boy Scouts of America, it is necessary for each individual to be re-registered annually. This is the case, whether one is a boy or an adult leader. For new boys, each unit of the Boy Scout Program, i.e., Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Varsity, and Venturers, has its own specific registration form which must be filled out. For new adults, on the other hand, there's but one registration form one needs to fill out for all units of the Boy Scout Program.

There is a parallel between the individual and the scouting unit. Each unit must also be rechartered annually. Thus, some online instructions might help this necessary process.
