The last date for registration has passed.

Due to COVID-19 this event and all Council/camp events held in April have been postponed. As this is an evolving situation a new date has yet to be determined. Those already registered for this event will be receiving an email with more information. We will notify our Scouting family immediately when a new date is set.

During this overnight adventure, Scouts will begin working on an Eagle-required merit badge: the Cooking Merit Badge. Scouts will be instructed and get hands-on in a beautiful outdoor setting at Camp Jeremiah Johnson. Bring the whole troop and count it as a monthly campout!

WHY

The Cooking Merit Badge is an Eagle-required merit badge that requires attention and time. Scouts will get a head start on completing requirements to earn the merit badge. Note that the merit badge will NOT be completed at the end of this adventure.

WHO

Scouts ages 11-17, Scouting troops, or anyone interested in learning about cooking

PRICE

  • $20 for each youth working on the merit badge.
  • $10 for leaders to cover the cost of food.
