The last date for registration has passed.

Due to COVID-19 this event and all Council/camp events held in April have been postponed. As this is an evolving situation a new date has yet to be determined. Those already registered for this event will be receiving an email with more information. We will notify our Scouting family immediately when a new date is set.

Cub Scout Leader training required for any Cub Scout den or pack outdoor event, including pack camping overnighter and Webelos den overnighters. 

WHY

Keep your youth and families safe by understanding the BSA Safety Guidelines. 

WHO

Any scout leader or parent who would like to take Cub Scouts and families outdoors for campouts. 

PRICE

  • $15.00 per participant

The camp general store will be open for snacks and basic camping supplies.

PREREQUISITES

An online module is the first step to become BALOO trained.  The on-line training modules contain introductory and basic infomration that will be built upon during the practical training.  The training is available here: BALOO Pre-requisite Training

WHAT TO BRING

SCHEDULE

(Example) Friday:

  • 5:00pm - Check-in / Camp Set-Up
  • 6:00pm - Cook Dinner, work on knots, displays
  • 7:00pm - Class Instruction
  • 9:00pm - Cracker Barrel

Saturday:

  • 7:30am - Breakfast/Clean up camp
  • 8:30am - Opening Ceremony
  • 8:45am - Class Instruction
  • 12:30pm - Lunch
  • 1:30pm - Class Instruction
  • 3:30 - Closing Ceremony/Recognition

Cancellation Policy
A full refund will be issued if registration is canceled before April 10, 2020.
