What is a Commissioner?

A commissioner is a unit service officer, a coach, a friend, and a mentor, to units and unit leaders. They insure leaders and unit committees are operating safe program within BSA guidelines, as well as point them to district and council resources to help them succeed. The also return and report unit needs and to the assistant district commissioners (ADC's) and district commissioner. They follow up to make sure units are being served by the district
