City Eagle Project Opportunities

Many cities in our area need help and that is a great opportunity for an Eagle Project.  In addition to providing you with a good project, many cities will also provide supplies and other help you might need to complete a service project.  If your city is not listed below you might contact your Mayor or City Manager to see what opportunities are available.

Julie has SEVERAL projects that are available and is VERY interested in working with Scouts looking for Eagle Projects.  An example of a project would be to help out with the ongong cleanup of the the West Mountain fire.

 Kids Who Count—Early Childhood Intervention Program in Salem, which serves all of the southern Utah County area.   Contact: Liz Petersen  801-423-3000

Salem Hills High School.    Contact: Asst. Principal Mr. Bohling, 801-423-3200
Needs Scouts to paint crosswalks, curbs and speed bumps.  Scouts need to bring a long straight edge.  Call Mr. Bohling several days before coming and he will get the paint from the school district.  You may need to bring paint brushes.  There is enough work for several troops do work on different cross walks, curbs and speed bumps.
