So Where's Roundtable Now?
Our district still sponsors two roundtable locations on the third Thursday of each month:
• CUB SCOUTS meet at 7944 North Smith Ranch Road in Eagle Mountain. This is the same building as last year. The training is from 7-8:30pm and is for all Den Leaders, Cubmasters, and Pack Committee members. You will receive tips and program helps for next month's theme.
• ALL OTHER LEADERS now meet at 8272 North Simpson Springs Road in Eagle Mountain. This is a new building, but not far from last year's (just west of the condos). This training is from 7-8:30pm with specific sections for Boy Scouts, Varsity Scouts, and Venturing leaders.
Make Plans for the Klondike Derby • The district's annual Boy Scout Klondike Derby is scheduled for March 5 and 6 in the Unita Mountains East of Kamas (near the location of where we had our Fall Camp). There is no cost for adult leader participation, and a $5 per boy registration fee. Each vehicle must pay a $6 toll to enter the canyon. Activities may include bowling for ice cream, snow sled racing, winter first aid, winter survival, and a snow dog sled demo.
