Boy Scouts of America 100th Anniversary Celebration
For the past 100 years the Boy Scouts of America has stood for such values as honesty, integrity and high moral conduct. We celebrate this great legacy and the adventure of Scouting as we look back over the past 100 years.
Perhaps more importantly we also look forward to the next 100 years. We believe that Scouting is one of the great resources that our nation can turn to for strength of character, service and leadership.
Over the next 5 years the Utah National Parks Council will celebrate Scouting's centennial by emphasizing the qualities and values that have made Scouting an important and relevant resource for our communities.
Our Vision: A Purpose-Driven Anniversary Celebration
Our goal is to deliver a purpose-driven celebration … a sustained and coordinated effort that will allow us to share our powerful story in every community we serve.
Without question, this will include events around which we will gather to celebrate our important milestone. But, so too will this include an assertive and thoughtful effort to better communicate the tremendous value of Scouting in the Utah National Parks Council while engaging Scouts, leaders, alumni, family, friends, and the public throughout the entire council.
The Utah National Parks Council Centennial Celebration is not about new programs, but rather it is about recognizing and building upon the desired outcomes that come naturally from our young men and their leaders who participate in the Scouting program.

Steps to Get Started
Every Scouting unit and district can participate in the Centennial Celebration. This can and should happen every time Scouts get together - whether for a Den meeting or an overnight activity. The links below will help you to Centennial-ize your Scouting program, and provide resources for your unit to experience and then share the values of Scouting.
