Biking Bike one of these seven trails. - 14 mile metal masher jeep trail, begin and end at camp, scenic route
- 23 mile Gemini Bridges jeep trail, begin in camp, end at Moab, downhill ride
- 6-10 mile Gemini Bridged slick rock mogul trail, short, simple, and good for beginners
- 20 mile Longs Canyon jeep trail, downhill excitement to the Colorado River!
- Famous Slick Rock bike trail ? for experienced bikers, the practice loop is also available
- Klondyke Bluffs off the beaten path north of Moab about 15 miles.
- La Sals ride in the high country for a cooler experience
Whitewater Day-long trip down the Colorado, beginning at Castle Valley. More exclusive trips that offer more thrills are also available for an extra cost. Shooting Sports A day of shotguns, black powder, and action archery at base camp Sightseeing Hikes around the area to famous Arches, Canyon-lands, Dead Horse Point, etc. Evening Programs Games, shooting, campfires, night hikes all after dinner. | Advancement and Recognition Varsity Scout advancement supports will be available for merit badges, Varsity Pins, and the Varsity Letter. Venturing suppot for the Outdoor Bronze will also be available. Training Venturing unit-based training will be made available for units attending 3-6 days. For units attending 3-4 days, a intitial Venturing Leadership Skills Course will be made available for advisors to check-out and utilize in concert with the daily program activities. The syllabus and modules will be on hand and at base camp. For units attending a 6-day couse, the option of running Kodiak will be made available along with its 6 commissions. |
