Maple Dell Scout Camp

 


Bring your unit for a night of camping and year round opportunities to earn merit badges in the beautiful mountain setting of Maple Dell. There are 6 merit badge tracks to choose from to accomodate all the boys in your troop. Each merit badge track will take the entire weekend. Please only schedule each boy for 1 track. If more tracks are needed, please join us another weekend.

Family Life, Per Fitness, & Per Management Prt 1 First Aid & Emergency Preparedness

 

When: Friday, October 6th - Saturday, October 7th

Where: Maple Dell Scout Camp

What do I need to bring?  Anything you need to stay warm and camp overnight, as well as food for your meals.

What is the cost?  $25 per troop for the camping overnighter plus $10 or 420 for each youth working on the merit badge. 

What is the schedule? Check in at 5 PM Friday Night. Checkout Saturday 1 PM

 

Some of these merit badges require more work than can be accomplished in one weekend. Boys can go to meritbadge.org (or click on the merit badge below), print the requirements, and complete the prerequisites before this weekend. Otherwise, boys will be given a partial card showing what was completed. See below for a detailed list of prerequisties 

1- Citizenship in the Nation: part 2 & Pioneering: none

2- Citizenship in the World: part 7 & Wilderness Survival: none

3- Communication: parts 4 & 5

4- Cooking: parts 4 & 6

5- Family LifePersonal Fitness, & Personal Management Part 1: There are no prerequisites for this group, but it must be completed over at least a 3 mo period. Boys will need to take part 1, complete the required assignments, and come back for part 2. 

6- First Aid: none & Emergency Preparedness: part 9

Cancellation Policy
Full refunds will be available 2 weeks prior to the merit badge weekend. If you need to make changes after that date, credit toward a different weekend can be arranged.
