  • NEW EAGLE WORKBOOK FOR 2012
    Starting, January 1, 2012, any new Life Scouts that want to begin their Eagle project, must use the new Workbook. Also, these scouts must contact a District Eagle Coordinator. If you have any questions, please contact the District Advancement Chair, Darnell Jackson 801-358-6663.
  • New Tour Permit Plan Update
    The tour plan is a checklist for best practices to be prepared for safe and fun adventure. Completing the tour plan can help ensure that appropriate planning has been conducted, that qualified and trained leadership is in place, and that the right equipment is available for the adventure. In addition, the plan helps to organize safe and appropriate transportation to and from an event, and defines driver qualifications and minimum limits of insurance coverage for drivers and vehicles used to transport participants. There are many significant changes from the old tour permit process, so click the link above to learn more, and to begin filing tour plans after March 1 for your outdoor activities that require one.

  • District Committee Meeting - 2nd Thursdays of the Month - 6:00 PM Stadium Avenue LDS Church 650 E Stadium Avenue (map it).
  • District Roundtable - 2nd Thursday meetings - 7:00 PM Stadium Avenue LDS Church 650 E Stadium Avenue (map it).
  • Assistant District Commissioner Report Meetings (Stake presidency counselors and assigned high councilors)  - 8:15 PM, after Roundtable Stadium Avenue LDS Church 650 E Stadium Avenue (map it).
  • Eagle Boards of Review & Project Approvals - 3rd Thursdays of the Month - 6:30 PM (Life-to-Eagle Orientations begin at 7:30 PM) Stadium Avenue LDS Church 650 E Stadium Avenue (map it).

District Contacts

Please contact us and let us know how we can help you in your Scouting endeavors.  The Scouting district is lead by a Key Three.  For general district policy and procedure questions, contact the District Chair.  Stake leaders with questions about unit service should contact the District Commissioner.  The District Executive is the professional council contact for the district and maintains an office at the Orem Service Center.
