Tour & Activity Plan

SCOUTING LEADERS MUST USE GOOD JUDGMENT AND PRUDENCE
WHEN CONDUCTING ANY SCOUTING ACTIVITY

The Tour & Activity Plan helps Unit Leaders to effectively evaluate their preparedness for upcoming activities. The Tour Plan is designed to reinforce the leadership requirements of basic safety in Scouting – specifically two-deep leadership, transportation, aquatics, rappelling, and youth protection.

The Tour & Activity Plan may be filled out and submitted electronically through www.My.Scouting.org.

When a Tour Plan should be filled out?   Click for Scout Rules regarding when a Tour Plan is needed.

Problems:  The most common reason for not seeing Tour and Activity Plans in your MyScouting account is that your BSA member ID in not attached to your MyScouting account profile.  You can call the scout office to get your number (435-628-5172).  Then link your number at the bottom of the "My Profile" link under Membership info.  The "Tour and Activity Plan" link should show up in a day or so under Unit Tools.
Not everyone can see Tour and Activity plans on MyScouting.org.  Click Here for those positions with tour permit access,
If all else fails, fill out the paper form
and take it to the Scout office.  Make sure you have the two signatures on the bottom of the first page.

For complete details on the Tour Plan process, either watch the Training Video below or consult this page.
