Scout Unit Commissioner Annual Roundtable Agenda.

Journey to Excellence Evaluations will (or should) be coming in  with each unit recharter.  Make sure you as a unit commissioner have taken the forms to each unit, met with the leaders, and have gathered the necessary information so that we can determine where they are for this first year Journey to Excellence.  This one will be the baseline that will be used to set the journey forward for next year.  Because of the lateness of getting the information none of our units has had a full year to work on their Journey, so exceeding the Journey next year should be relatively easy.  We are hoping for mainly Bronze, with a few silvers this year.  Next year, Silvers should be the rule rather than the exception.  If you need forms click here Journey to Excellence or the Journey to excellence link on the homepage. Remember that each Program (Venture, Varsity, Scout, and Cubs) use a different form so get the correct form for the unit you are visiting.  This information needs to be gathered in October so that we can turn it in with the Recharters that start the 2nd week of November.

September Roundtable:  Attend the Scoutmaster Breakout with the Scoutmasters from your Stake

October Roundtable:  Attend the Scoutmaster Breakout with the Scoutmasters from your Stake.

November Roundtable:  Again there will not be a Scout Commissioner Specific Breakout, so attend the Scoutmaster Breakout with your Scoutmasters from your Stake.

December Roundtable:  Attend the Scoutmaster Breakout with the Scoutmasters from your Stake.

January Roundtable:  This month you will skip the Scoutmaster Breakout and attend Unit Commissioner Training in the Commissioner Room.  (Last classroom on the right down the east hall out of the back of the commons room).  We will have all ADCs from each stake present and will go over some of the basics of being a Scout Unit Commissioner and what is expected of you to fill this job.  If you missed the training, you can get an outline of what was discussed by following this link. Click here  (Don't try to use the link before January Roundtable, cuz we want you there, not just to get the information, but because we need your input in the discussion and to ask the questions you may have.)  Link goes live after roundtable.
