Cub Scout Olympics Field Day!!
WHERE: Harmony Park, 3760 S Main St, South Salt Lake, UT 84115
WHEN: Saturday, July 20th, 10 AM - 2 PM
WHAT: Olympic style games to encourage teamwork, sportsmanship, and keeping ourselves "physically strong".... There will be individual sports, including track and field events, fencing, football toss, "equestrian games", as well as group games like tennis, soccer, and softball.
WHO: Registered scouts are allowed to attend and may each bring ONE friend interested in scouting at no extra cost. We also kindly request that one adult per family remain to help, as we will need volunteers to help with events and safety.
COST: $15 per scout (free for adults and a prospective scout). This will cover the facility rental fee, medals, snacks, etc. We will be having a closing ceremony/medal ceremony at the end of the games!
THINGS TO BRING: To keep costs low, we will not be providing lunch, similar to scout day camp. We will have snacks related to Paris and to the Olympics, but not a full meal, so scouts will need to bring a water bottle, a hat, sunscreen, and lunch.
