All Registered Scout Adults (and their plus one) are invited!

Parents, Unit Leaders, Commissioners, maybe a local business - so many contribute to the success of our units. Offer the stars of your unit the recognition they deserve

Join Scouters from throughout the District for an evening of camaraderie and recognition. Its a great night out – dinner, camaraderie, and deserving recognition for only $10 per person!

There are many awards and recognition items available. Please take the time to review opportunities and submit the form. And don’t be shy! Perhaps you have earned an item of recognition – if you qualify, send in a form.

All forms should be emailed to Jeff Applegate at jeff.applegate@scouting.org Our deadline has been extended to October 17.

Recognize Unit Leaders: Each unit is dependent on those who step up and serve! Let us know which leader is your unit STAR by completing Form 512-003.

Unit Sparkplug Award: Perhaps there is an unsung hero – a parent, committee member, chartered partner that provides that special energy that ignites others in the unit. Recommend them for the Unit Sparkplug award. No form necessary, but please email your recommendation offering their name, unit number, and reason to Jeff Applegate at jeff.applegate@scouting.org .

All registered adults are eligible for a Veteran Award. Please help us by completing the Veteran Form Award for Scouters in your unit. And don’t forget yourself. You deserve recognition for your time and effort.

District Award of Merit: This is the highest honor a local district can bestow upon a volunteer, presented Scouters who have rendered outstanding service not only to their Unit but the District as well. There is a limit to the number of awards annually. There is a special review committee. The nomination process is confidential. Please do NOT advise nominees that they are under consideration or that you have nominated them for the award. Please complete the Nomination Form 33720C and be sure to submit by October 10.

Take a moment to peruse Scouting America for the many awards and items of recognition available. Adult Leaders and Parents, including yourself, are deserving of recognition as the STAR you are!
