Why do you want to go?
You want to participate in a Sea Badge course because of things you will learn and do. Seabadge is leadership and management training focused upon the ‘how to’ aspects of managing a successful youth led Sea Scout program.
Successful conclusion of the course and completion of 5 Sea Scout focused action goals (“rutters”) qualify the participant for the Seabadge recognition pin.
Who Should Attend?
The course is open to all registered adult Scout leaders who have completed basic training for their position AND leader-specific Sea Scout leader training (available on-line at scouting.org). This course does not cover nautical skills such as navigation, boating or other seamanship skills or knowledge.
