CAMP STAFF
Lead the Adventure
Every summer, over 30,000 youth and adults flock from across the U.S. to enjoy programs and treks at our council's 10 staffed camps in Utah, Idaho, and Wyoming.
If you're looking for a rewarding seasonal job that impacts young lives, the Crossroads of the West Council hires more than 300 seasonal staff for roles in outdoor skills, backcountry adventures, day camps, food service, maintenance, lifeguarding, shooting sports instruction, and more!
Most positions last from early June to July, with some extending into August, and preference is given to those available for the entire season.
Weekly salaries vary based on the position, responsibilities, and individual experience.
Hiring for summer positions is ongoing, with most interviews occurring from late fall to April. While there is no formal application deadline, hiring managers typically review applications in the order they are received and route them based on selected positions.
