Join us for a day of learning, networking, and growth at the University of Scouting & College of Commissioner Science! This event is your opportunity to dive deep into a variety of Scouting topics, expand your skills, and connect with fellow leaders and commissioners.

Whether you're a seasoned leader or new to the world of Scouting, we offer classes tailored to all experience levels. With a wide range of workshops, you'll find training on everything from program planning and youth engagement to leadership development and specialized Commissioner service topics.

Highlights of the event:

• Over 50 classes and workshops led by experienced Scouters
• Specialized tracks for Cub Scouts, Scouts BSA, Venturing, and Sea Scouting leaders
• Commissioner-specific training and certification
• Opportunities to network and share best practices
• Hands-on activities and resources to bring back to your unit

Why Attend?

The University of Scouting is the premier training event for adult Scout leaders across all programs. The College of Commissioner Science provides in-depth courses for Commissioners to enhance their ability to serve units and guide leaders. With the skills and knowledge you gain, you'll be better equipped to create impactful, fun, and enriching experiences for your Scouts.

Schedule:

• 8:00 am - Check in
• 8:30 am - Opening Ceremony
• 9:00 am- First class begins
• 12:00 pm - Lunch (included in participant fee)
  • Box lunch will include sandwich, salad, chips, water & cookie
  • If you have dietary needs, please contact the Council office by March 14 to arrange alternate meal.
• 3:00 pm - Last class ends

*Note: Venture courses (V111 and V112) go until 4 pm

Cost:

• Before March 1, 2025
  • $25 - includes lunch & patch (adults and youth)
• After March 1, 2025
  • $35 - includes lunch & patch (adults and youth)
• All Youth attending Den Chief Training only are free. Option to add Lunch for $10.
• Youth scouts are encouraged to attend
