TAX ID NUMBER

Each unit should have its own tax ID number to help facilitate banking. Instructions on how to obtain an Employer Identification Number (EIN) are available in the resources section, or you can apply directly through the IRS website.

BANKING

Each unit should maintain its own bank account. The account should be set up using the unit’s tax ID number, not an individual’s Social Security number. Additional banking guidance is available in the resources section.
