Join Scouts across the Crossroads of the West Council as we honor America’s 250th birthday through six unforgettable Windows of Adventure.
Explore our nation’s past, serve your neighbors, discover the outdoors, dream big for the future — and collect all six stained-glass-style patches along the way!
What’s Ahead for America250
The year ahead is filled with meaningful opportunities for Scouts and units to take part in America’s 250th anniversary through Scouting.
This short introduction video offers an overview of the America250 experiences and events planned for the coming year— including passport adventures and council-wide celebrations — and how units and families can participate in ways that fit their program.

Build Your Windows of Adventure Patch

Each adventure unlocks a vibrant stained-glass-style patch segment. Piece them together to create the full six-part emblem — a keepsake of your America 250 journey.
The design of this special patch set was inspired by the breathtaking stained-glass dome at the new Museum of Utah, a tribute to our state’s history and the bright future Scouts help build.
Collect all six segments + bonus awards to complete the masterpiece!

Discover All Six Windows of Adventure
Each window offers a unique way to explore America’s story. Use your passport to guide your progress, track completed activities, and record your experiences as you work toward completing all six.
