SCOUTING FOR FOOD
Serving Others… It’s the American Way

Each February, thousands of Scouts across Utah, southern Idaho, and western Wyoming come together for Scouting for Food—one of the region’s largest youth-led service projects. Working alongside community partners, Scouts collect and deliver food to local pantries serving families in need.

As part of the America250 celebration, this year’s theme highlights a simple idea: neighbors helping neighbors.

HOW IT WORKS

-
Scouts will greet you at the entrance with a list of needed items
-
As you shop, add a few extra non-perishable items to your cart
-
Drop donations in the collection bins near the exit

From there, Scouts and the Utah National Guard deliver the food directly to local pantries.

WHY IT MATTERS
Food insecurity affects many families in our communities, especially during the winter months. Scouting for Food helps meet immediate needs while giving young people a hands-on way to serve and lead.
