The Oquirrh Mountain District Mission & Vision
Our mission is to “prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law” in order to “prepare every eligible youth in (our care) to become a responsible, participating citizen and leader who is guided by the Scout Oath and Law”

Our vision is to provide trained unit commissioners to each unit to support and strengthen units in our district as well as communicate and facilitate training opportunities for both adults and youth such as roundtable, leader-specific, Wood badge, NYLT, and other training as needed. We also want to help units become visible and active in their communities to show that scouting is still alive and well in West Salt Lake & Tooele Counties.

We are here to support you and help you so please reach out to us for assistance. Thank you for your dedication and service to our youth!
