NATIONAL JAMBOREE

Scouting’s flagship event is truly one of a kind. The National Jamboree brings together tens of thousands of Scouts, leaders, and staff from across the country to celebrate everything that makes Scouting great.

Held every four years, this experience offers participants the chance to explore, challenge themselves, and connect with others—all in one place.

WHAT TO EXPECT

From high-adventure activities to large-scale shows and patch trading, the Jamboree is packed with opportunities to try new things and create lasting memories.

Participants will experience a dynamic program that blends outdoor adventure, personal growth, and the excitement of being part of something much bigger.

EVENT HIGHLIGHTS

  • High-adventure activities including zip lines, climbing, and canopy tours

  • World-class program areas and unique experiences

  • Stadium shows and large group gatherings

  • Patch trading and Scouting traditions

  • Opportunities to connect with Scouts from across the country

EVENT DETAILS

  • Who: Scouts and leaders who meet participation requirements

  • Location: Summit Bechtel Reserve

  • Experience: Multi-day national Scouting event with travel, touring, and on-site programming

Participation is limited and typically fills quickly. Early planning is encouraged.

YOUTH PARTICIPATION

The National Jamboree is open to qualified Scouts on a first-come, first-served basis.

Participants are expected to:

  • Be registered members of a Scout troop

  • Meet age and rank requirements for the event year

  • Live by the Scout Oath and Law

  • Follow all event guidelines and code of conduct

WHAT'S INCLUDED

Participation packages often include:

  • Transportation and travel coordination

  • Pre-event training and meetings

  • Jamboree gear and equipment

  • Event fees and on-site programming

  • Pre-Jamboree touring experiences and support staff
