The lodge key is located in the lockbox hanging on the front door of the shower/restroom building, located southwest of the lodge. Please return the key to the lockbox before departing camp.

CAMP RULES & EXPECTATIONS
We ask all guests to demonstrate respect for others, care for camp property, and stewardship of the outdoors throughout their stay.
Safety

Follow all applicable safety guidelines throughout your stay.

A minimum of two responsible adults must be present whenever youth are in camp.

Report injuries, emergencies, or facility concerns immediately.

Be aware of current fire restrictions and emergency procedures.
Vehicles & Parking

Vehicles may only be operated on designated roads and parking areas.

Do not drive into campsites, fields, or directly to building entrances.
-
After unloading, move vehicles to approved parking locations.
-
Seat belts are required for all passengers.
-
Riding in truck beds or trailers is prohibited.
Fires & Firewood

Fires are not permitted at this property.
Camp Property

Leave camp in better condition than you found it.

Do not enter facilities not included in your reservation.

Climbing trees is prohibited.

Dirt bikes and ATVs are prohibited.
Tobacco, Alcohol & Drugs

Smoking is permitted only in designated areas.

Alcohol and illegal drugs are prohibited on camp property.

Leaders should be aware of participant medications and their proper administration.
Restricted Areas

Facility rentals do not include access to archery ranges, shooting sports ranges, climbing facilities, or other program areas.
Firearms

Firearms and ammunition are prohibited.
SECURITY DEPOSIT & DAMAGE POLICY
A security deposit is required to reserve Camp Fife facilities.
Following your stay, camp staff will inspect the facilities to ensure they have been left clean, undamaged, and in accordance with all rental policies and checkout procedures.
Charges may be assessed for:

Excessive cleaning

Policy violations

Other expenses resulting from your group's use of the facility
If repair or cleaning costs exceed the security deposit, the renter is responsible for the remaining balance.
Security Deposit Refund
If no concerns are identified during the post-rental inspection, please contact Terri Comber approximately one week after your reservation to request the return of your security deposit.

FACILITY ARRIVAL INSTRUCTIONS
To help protect the lodge's plumbing and mechanical systems during periods when the facility is unoccupied, the water system and water heater are shut down between rentals. Please complete the following steps upon arrival and again before departing.
1. Turn On the Water
Enter the lodge through the front doors and walk downstairs.

Turn left at the bottom of the stairs.

Enter the second room on the left.

Locate the green water main valve mounted to the foundation wall.

Turn the valve so it is parallel with the water pipe to restore water service.
2. Turn On the Water Heater

In the same room, locate the electrical breaker panel near the doorway.

Turn on the breakers labeled "WH" to restore power to the water heater.

3. Close the Women's Restroom Faucets

The sink faucets in the downstairs women's restroom are intentionally left open after each rental to drain the plumbing system.

Please turn all sink faucets off before using the lodge.
4. Using the Kitchen Grill
If your group plans to use the commercial kitchen grill:

Turn on the main propane valve (the red valve located behind the grill).

Lift the access plate on top of the grill.
-
Light the pilot light for each burner section you plan to use.
-
If you will be using the oven beneath the grill, light the pilot located underneath the grill as well.

CHECKOUT & CLEAN UP INSTRUCTIONS

Before You Leave Camp
Please complete the following before departing:
✓ Turn the breakers labeled "WH" off to place the water heater back into standby.
✓ Return to the basement mechanical room and shut off the green water main valve.
✓ Open the sink faucets in the downstairs women's restroom to drain the remaining water from the plumbing lines.
These simple steps help protect the lodge's plumbing system and prepare the facility for the next group.

✓ Return tables and chairs to their designated locations
✓ Turn off all lights
✓ Close and lock all windows
✓ Lock all exterior doors
✓ Set thermostats to 50°
✓ Remove all food from refrigerators, freezers, and pantry areas
