FACILITY ARRIVAL INSTRUCTIONS

To help protect the lodge's plumbing and mechanical systems during periods when the facility is unoccupied, the water system and water heater are shut down between rentals. Please complete the following steps upon arrival and again before departing.

1. Turn On the Water

Enter the lodge through the front doors and walk downstairs.

  • Turn left at the bottom of the stairs.

  • Enter the second room on the left.

  • Locate the green water main valve mounted to the foundation wall.

View the valve location: {{WaterMainPhoto}}

Turn the valve so it is parallel with the water pipe to restore water service.

2. Turn On the Water Heater

  • In the same room, locate the electrical breaker panel near the doorway.

  • Turn on the breakers labeled "WH" to restore power to the water heater.

  • View the breaker panel: {{WaterHeaterBreakerPhoto}}

3. Close the Women's Restroom Faucets

  • The sink faucets in the downstairs women's restroom are intentionally left open after each rental to drain the plumbing system.

  • Please turn all sink faucets off before using the lodge.

4. Using the Kitchen Grill

If your group plans to use the commercial kitchen grill:

  • Turn on the main propane valve (the red valve located behind the grill).

  • Lift the access plate on top of the grill.

  • Light the pilot light for each burner section you plan to use.

  • If you will be using the oven beneath the grill, light the pilot located underneath the grill as well.
